The image above is a button graphic of my boyfriend, Ben, who passed away last October. The graphic was designed by Emily Posola, a fellow student here at NCSU. This particular graphic is special to my heart, for obvious reasons, but aside from that, I enjoy how simple it is – you know exactly what you are looking at. The red background makes the main image stand out, and it goes along with the colors of North Carolina State University, where ben attended before he passed. The red is also incorporated within the main image in the basketball goal, which makes the graphic have a great flow and easy for the eyes to follow. The phrase “Captain” is has a white outline, which also makes it stand out without overpowering the main center image.
