This is a sticker off of my laptop that I purchased at a small boutique here in Raleigh. I like this design because of its simplicity, but it also carries a larger meaning. This design is using the design form of text silhouettes, where the text is arranged in a shape that gives meaning to the content that is expressed in words. The text in this image is supposed to be the “smile” part of the smiley face. I thought this was a creative way to get the message “Have a good day” across, as opposed to just putting the phrase under or next to the smiley face.
