This design was from an event hosted by the company Willowtree called “Color of Design.” I got this during the first semester and kept it on my desk ever since because I love the design on the front cover. I think the distortion of the text was a very interesting and modern approach, and since the cover is only text the designer did a good job of keeping it interesting and engaging. I also really like the colors in the text because it is a play on words to the event title. A lot of modern designs use san-serif fonts, so I like that this uses a serif font and still makes it interesting and fun. This design is always nice to look at when I’m doing work at my desk!
