Rewined
While looking for a piece of graphic design to use for this post, this particular logo really stood out to me. The company recycles old wine bottles into containers for candles and sells fun scents like Mimosa and Sangria. I really like the inclusion of the wine opener in the center of the logo, as it really adds visual appeal and is the main reason I was drawn to this design piece. In addition, I like the font that is used for the logo as it feels classy and refined, and it is easy to read from a distance, which would be helpful for the company when displaying the product in stores. Lastly, they included important details about the candle right within this design, so consumers are able to easily know what the product is and where it was made once they are close enough to read more about it.
Commenting this with my own Rewined candle lit beside me! Your analysis is great, and one of the reasons I bought the candle myself – the inclusion of the product’s sustainable origins was a big selling point for me, and that sustainability seemed to carry over into the bottle opener logo and natural tones of the label (almost cardboard looking). I also noted the logo’s legibility, and the ‘rewind’ ‘rewined’ pun! The little label with the faux-seal on the side was also a great, personal touch, and I loved that the date of the product’s creation was handwritten on the side. Great eye for detail, and let me know how to Sangria & Mimosa candles compare to the Pinot Grigio!
