This variant of the Bodoni typeface was designed by the URW Type Foundry GmbH Design Staff based on Giambattista Bodoni’s famous typeface of the same name. I identify with the neoclassical nature of Bodoni URW Medium Oblique as a timeless choice with the ability to complement a variety of other styles. I love that the serif roots call back to the early history of typesetting while the low x-height, slanted nature, and medium weight adds something new. Like myself, it feels classic with a twist and versatile to the max.
